What can Student Government do for you?
The Student Government serves as the liaison between the student body, the faculty, and the college administration. Comprised of twenty-seven representatives representing each class year, the Student Government strives to address the needs of the students in collaboration with the requisite administrators and departments of the college.
How can we help?
The Student Government meets on Thursdays at 7 p.m. Lafayette community members are welcome to attend!

The Election Season is underway, with 14 candidates running for 6 different executive board positions. On November 6th, there is a Candidate Forum moderated by the Lafayette Newspaper. The Forum is a great chance to get to know the different candidates and hear about their platforms. We encourage and welcome anyone to join us and participate in the Forum. Starting on Monday, November 10th, voting for the Student Government Executive Board Positions will open. Any Lafayette Student is allowed and encouraged to vote. Voting will be available on OurCampus and will close on Friday, November 14th, at 12:00 pm. Additionally, applications for General Body Positions are currently open and available to fill out on OurCampus until November 20th. We are so excited for the future members of the Student Government and can’t wait for the next couple of weeks to unfold. The Candidate Forum will be on November 6th at 7:00 pm in Colton Chapel. Come on by! Voting for Executive Board Positions will take place from November 10th to November 14th @ 12 pm.
